Sudan Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Society (SHPBS)
Establishment: In August 2025, the Sudan HPB Society was established and Approved as E-AHPBA chapter in May 2026. The Society aims to unite HPB surgeon’s nationwide, foster collaboration to improve service delivery, and advance HPB education and research within our surgical community. Looking forward, the Society seeks to expand regional collaboration to promote training, research, and the advancement of HPB services across the East African region.
Activities: Active biweekly webinars
- Onsite workshop: Safe Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy for surgical registrars in September 2026
- HPB symposium planned for February 2027
