Brief History of the Chapter
Chirurgische Arbeitsgemeinschaft Leber, Galle, Pankreas (CALGP, the Surgical Working Group for Liver, Gallbladder and Pancreatic Diseases) is a working group occupied with studies in HPB surgery in Germany under the umbrella of the German Society of General and Visceral Surgery. Its activities include:
- Quality Assurance in HPB Surgery
- National Certification of Centres of Competence, Reference and Excellence
- Conducting multicenter Studies
- Promoting professional education in HPB Surgery
