Brief History of the Chapter

The Czech chapter of IHPBA was established in 1992 under the patronage of Prof. RCN Williamson in Prague. Their annual meeting, well known as the Spring meeting of HPB, is organized every year with monothematic topic with multidisciplinary participation. In 2012 this meeting was held jointly with Society of digestive oncology of Czech Republic. The HPB Bulletin was issued quarterly from 1993 till 2008.
